healing through connection

my mission

My mission is to provide women with the education, physical therapy, and community they need to heal through connection—connection to their own bodies, to trusted resources, and to one another. Through compassionate care, I guide women to feel capable, confident, and supported on their healing journey, creating a ripple effect for future generations.

Hello! I’m Genesis.

I became obsessed with the human body as a young child and have been drawn to helping people by talking about the things that most would view as TMI, or even taboo, since adolescence.

I received my Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from Arizona State University and my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University in 2017.

Pelvic floor physical therapy is often life-changing, yet it’s a topic many people don’t feel comfortable discussing. During my clinical rotations, I was profoundly moved by the positive impact pelvic health physical therapy had on people's lives. I also realized that one of my strengths is being comfortable in the uncomfortable and felt called to shift the paradigm. I work now to share this knowledge, and to empower people with care that restores strength, confidence, and quality of life.

I grew up in central Missouri, but I've lived all over the country and have gained valuable experience from each and every place. I'm a mother to two young boys who are joy and chaos and fun. In my free time I enjoy sewing, cooking, tackling DIY home reno projects, and attempting to relax with my family.
